One of the best things about planning for festivals is finding out exactly who you’ll be able to see perform once you get there, and if Glastonbury is the biggest festival in the world, then the lineup announcement could be the most important music news this week. So what does it look like? Well, here’s the poster…
With more still to be announced it’s a stacked line up already and with names like The XX, Royal Blood, Alt-J, First Aid Kit, Glass Animals, Circa Waves and more there’s no shortage of todays greatest and most accomplished acts, all set to steal the show and leave fans waiting for their next appearance. Legends like Barry Gibb, Kris Kristofferson and Toots & The Maytals will be bringing their iconic status to the festival and providing once in a lifetime sets that will be unmissable. Plus how could you not jump at the prospect of a gorgeous Laura Marling performance in the sun on Worthy Farm, or a typically energetic Foo Fighters set?
It looks incredible already and there’s more to come. Stay tuned. Plus what can we expect from the already announced Variety Bazaar in 2019? Do we really want Ed Sheeran as a headliner? He’ll have to prove himself on the day and earn his spot, but there’s plenty more to learn about the iconic, Glastonbury Festival.
